Let it be Known

My mother started watching and loves Sex and the City. After so many years of being turned off by the series strictly because of its title alone, she finally tuned in (that’s what happens when Reba rules Lifetime’s airwaves, and According to Jim dominates TBS). She’s enamored with all of the characters, especially Samantha. So far, she’s exclaimed:
“She’s a slut, but I love her!”
and,
“Samantha’s crazy, but I love her!”
and,
“Is she actually having sex with that guy? Because I can see everything.”
and of course,
“What Samantha did with that vibrator last night? That was so funny!”
So, in fear of not crapping a diamond today, I give you an old piece of artwork that I made for the college humor paper. It was in preparation for the movie, with each of the characters representing a Santa Cruz-type. Carrie’s the hippie, Charlotte’s the hipster, Miranda’s the lez, Samantha’s the tacky surfer cougar, and Louise is the black minority thrown to Oakes College (UCSC inside joke).
Enjoy.
