While we are about a week away from the coolest kids book ever coming out, I thought it would be funny to show you some never-before-seen artwork that is a complete shift in styles for me.
A while ago, I was being vetted for a more mainstream comic book series. To prove that I can do “realistic,” I created a couple page sample, composed entirely of photo traces. It was a fun exercise, and it allowed me to try new things. It looks like I will be drawing in a more cartoon-y style for the next year, so I figure you should see this now.
